Marcella A. “Marcy” Mendoza

1946-2024

Marcella A. “Marcy” Mendoza, age 77, a resident of Belen, passed away on June 6, 2024.

Services will take place on Wednesday, June 26, at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, starting with a visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a vigil/rosary at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her son, Adolfo “Fito” Mendoza; daughter, Pricilla Mendoza; siblings, Andrew “Chano” Gomez (Lourella Jaramillo), Marty Gomez (Lisa) and Stella Gomez (Cris Carillo); two grandchildren who she lovingly raised and cherished, Analysia Garcia and Celeena Garcia; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Marcella is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Eliseo and Gabrilita Lucero Gomez; children, Emma Trujillo (Gabe), Joe Gomez (Marie), Andrew Gomez, Clara Gomez, Julian Gomez (Dolores), Alice Bibiano and Kathy Sanchez.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated hospice team, Abby, Catherine, Natalie, Jessica, Chaplain Richard and Mona Lisa.

The pallbearer will be her son, Adolfo Mendoza.
