1931-2024

Mildred Sanchez Saiz, age 92, from Los Lunas, passed away on Monday evening, July 8, 2024.

A visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m., Monday, July 22, at San Clemente Catholic Church. The Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m., followed by the celebration of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the San Clemente Catholic Cemetery.

Mildred was a past member of the Catholic Daughters, and the Alter Society for San Clemente Catholic Church. Foremost, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (nana). Her love of God, family and community will always be remembered.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, J. Eddie Saiz, of Los Lunas; her parents, Roberto G. Sanchez and Lupita Otero Sanchez; her brothers and sisters, Rosenda Sanchez Barreras, Eugene Sanchez, Bertha Sanchez Lovato, Eddie Sanchez, Milton Sanchez and Leroy Sanchez. Mildred was the last of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Gerard Saiz and wife, Anita, and Bernard Saiz and wife, Deanna; daughters, Geraldine Saiz TenBrink and husband, Mark, and Annette Saiz and husband, Zac Guerin; grandchildren, Matthew Saiz and wife, Lindsey, Brandon Facchini, Melette Facchini Archuleta and husband, Eddie, Ashley TenBrink Gray and husband, Grady, Stephen Saiz, Sara Saiz Grant and husband, Jacob and Kristen Saiz; great-grandchildren, Lilly Rose Gray and Madeline Brown.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Saiz, Stephen Saiz, Mark TenBrink, Zac Guerin, Alfred Sanchez and Joey Sais.

The family would like to thank the administration and staff of the Pueblo of Isleta Assisted Living for the dedication and care of our mother, Mildred, in her last days.
