Nancy Romero

1943-2023

Nancy Romero, age 79, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Oct. 22, 2023.

She is survived by five daughters, Christine Perea (Richard), Patricia Cabrera (Federico), Yolanda Vigil (Rodney), Ruby McEacherin (Robert) and Prescilla Romero; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Danny, Adrian, Robert, Leonard, Abel, Amanda, Stephanie, Felisha, Ross and Antonette; and many great-grandchildren.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Preciliano; son, Anthony Romero; mother, Antonia Garcia; brother, Louise Baca; and grandson, Jessie Gurule.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Nancy was married to Preciliano Romero for 60 years and they had one son and five daughters, and blessed with many grandchildren.

She was a wonderful mother, who was always there when we needed her. Nancy was the rock that held the family together when dad passed. Only God knows the inner strength she had. Nancy was precious a gift from God; she had so much beauty, grace, love and patience.

A service will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, at Calvary Chapel New Harvest in Los Lunas.
