1950-2024

Nora Marie Trujillo, age 74, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Nora, was born in 1950 in Los Nutrias, N.M. She married Johnny Trujillo on Oct. 10, 1970, and they shared a beautiful life together in Belen.

Surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nora loved and laughed deeply until God called her home on Sept. 22, 2024. She passed away peacefully, surrounded in the love of her family.

Services will take place on Thursday, Oct. 3, at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, starting with a visitation at 5 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 6 p.m. A final visitation will take place at 9 a.m., Friday, Oct. 4, and a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the San Isidro Catholic Cemetery in Las Nutrias.

Nora will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonor and Enrique Griego; her brothers, Floyd and Bobby; her grandchild, Shyanna; and her nephew, Henry Marquez.

Nora is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Johnny Trujillo; her siblings and their spouses, Lena and Eloy Marquez, Alley and Connie Griego, Jimmy and Irene Griego, and Anthony and Lisa Griego; as well as her children and their spouses, John and Marlene Trujillo, Marilyn and James Melzo, Lori and Ramon Alcala and Jonathan Trujillo. She is also survived by her many cherished grandchildren, Michael, Angel, Devine Jr., Mario, Frank, Kellie, David and Jasmine Castillo, Patrick and Alaine Melzo, Anthony, Raven and Orion Trujillo.

Goodbyes are not forever.
