Norbert Paul Ulivarri

1959-2022

Norbert Paul Ulivarri, age 62, a resident of Pueblo, Colo., passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

After graduation in 1977, Norbert joined the Navy and served from 1978 to 1982. He was stationed in Norfolk, Va., and was honorably discharged at the end of his service to our country.

Norbert is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy, whom passed in January 2022; parents, Narcisco and Nora Ulivarri; brothers, Lorenzo, Eugene, Narciso Jr. and Michael Ulivarri; and sister, Martha Dent; several nieces and nephews, grandparents and cousin.

He is survived by his five children, Michael Hudson, Sonia (Rich) Juarez, Carlos Sanchez, Crystal (Belinda) Lara and Desiree Benegas. Norbert and Judy had 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson, who they loved dearly. He is also survived by his brothers, Arthur, Danny, Joe Leo and Rafael (Carmen) Ulivarri; sisters, Dolores Gutierrez, Theresa (William) Berni, Paula (Anthony) Gabaldon and Sharon (Vincent) Olguin; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

All services will take place on Saturday, April 23, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A viewing will begin at 9 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

The pallbearers are his grandchildren, Cylis and Lexi.
