Annette Aragon

Died 2025

Annette Aragon

Annette Aragon, age 62, passed away on Sept. 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

A lifelong New Mexican, Annette made her home in Peralta for more than 30 years, where she built a life rooted in faith, family and community.

Annette spent her career as a court reporter and was admired for her remarkable skill, being recognized as one of the fastest in the state.

Beyond her work, she found joy in life’s adventures — traveling with her husband, Frank, to hot springs, wineries and anywhere the open road and their trailer could carry them.

Faith was at the center of Annette’s life. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for many years, where she and Frank proudly served as mayordomos. Her kindness, generosity and steadfast faith touched countless lives, and she was known as someone people could lean on in both joy and sorrow.

More than anything, Annette cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her contagious laughter and the way she made everyone feel welcome at her table.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, Alex Zamora; Johnny Perea; and her brother, Junior Perea.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Aragon; her daughter, Felicia Aragon (husband, Deven Kammerichs-Berke); her son, Francisco Aragon; her mother, Rebecca Perea; her sisters, Angeline, Amanda, Christina, Alex and Joanne; and by many nieces, nephews and friends, who loved her dearly.

Services to celebrate Annette’s life will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta.

Arrangements are entrusted to Trujillo Funeral Home. A special thank you to High Desert Hospice and Emma Brueckner for taking care of Annette as she was welcomed into the arms of her Lord.
