Olojio Benny Sanchez, age 82, a resident of Belen, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sept. 26, 2024.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Thursday, Oct 3, starting with a visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10 a.m., and a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., Interment to be followed at our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

Olojio is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Betty; children, Antionette and Fidel; grandchildren, Eric, Titianna, Amber and Nicolette; three great-grandchildren; his siblings, Joe (Bertha), Mary and Lena; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Olojio especially cherished his time with his nephew, Brian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vitalia and Jose Abran Sanchez; and his brother, Edwin.

Olojio enjoyed deep-sea fishing, hunting in New Mexico with his family and he had a passion for collecting antiques, particularly bicycles. However, his greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family.
