Oscar Morales, age 68, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Oct. 15, 2024.

Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Oct. 25, with a viewing at 5 p.m. and a Rosary at 6 p.m. A final viewing will be held at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Peralta, and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vela Morales; sons, Jose (Yvette), Oscar (Hope Martinez) and Antonio Morales; daughter, Rosamaria Morales (Simon Salas); and many loving brothers and sisters.

Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Francisa Ibabez Morales; many loving brothers and sisters, in-laws, Frances and Claudio Vela; and many nephews and nieces.

He was a construction worker. Oscar married his wife, Barbara Vela Morales, in Clovis on June 17, 1978.

Pallbearers will be Jose, Oscar and Antonio Morales, Simon Salas, Brian Richetti and Christopher Munoz. Honorary pallbearers will be Alias and Elijah Morales and Janelle Martinez.
