Patsy Ruth (Bell) Rich

1947-2023

Patsy Ruth (Bell) Rich, born on May 5, 1947, in Clayton, N.M., passed away peacefully at her home of 53 years in Bosque Farms surrounded by her family on Nov. 23, 2023.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Don Rich; her children, son, Dennis Rich (Yvonne Montes Rich), of Capitan, N.M., and daughter, Penni Rich Leiker (Scott Leiker), of Geneva, Fla.

Patsy’s pride and joy are her two grandchildren, Madelyn Rich Herrera (Valentin) and Zachary Rich. Patsy is also survived by many family members and friends.

Patsy, a graduate of Manzano High School class of 1965, worked for the Los Lunas Schools for many years. Patsy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her smile and laughter would light up any room.

She battled chronic illness for the last two years of her beautiful life and went to be with the Lord and Savior on Thanksgiving Day.

A celebration of life will be held for Patsy in the spring of 2024.
