Ralph “Ralphie” Maes, age, 75, a resident of Peralta, passed away on Oct. 3, 2024.
Celebration services for Ralph will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, at Romero Funeral Home in Belen.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Adelaida Maes; his sister, Shelia Maes; and his grandson, Gabriel.
He is survived by his father, Florian Maes (100) and his wife of 57 years, Naria Maes; son, Gene Maes and wife, Debbie; daughter, Elaine Maes, Philo and son, Michael Maes (Esmeralda); grandchildren, Alexandra, Joshua, Zack, Damien, Angelique and Gabriel Rafael; great-grandchildren, Joshlene, Cullen, Emmett, Alicia, Nevaeh, Eric, Ruby and Charlotte. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ralph worked hard all his life and retired after many years as a mechanic at Quality Pontiac. He also worked for several years at the Soho Uranium Mine in Cebolleta.
Ralph was a wonderful son, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be dearly missed by all.
