Roland Bazen, 49, a resident of Valencia County, went to Heaven to be united with his mother and father on Oct. 15.

Roland was born Feb. 1, 1974, in New York, to Hans and Antoinette Bazen. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and modifying cars for speed.

He always had a smile on and could bring anyone around him to laughter. He was the first to offer you anything he had to help you, with nothing asked in return.

Roland is survived by his son, Austin Bazen, who he deeply cherished, loved and spent many hours riding alongside with across the country.

Services will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a visitation, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 20, at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel.
