Samuel Thomas Potis passed away May 26, 2022, at his home in Los Lunas.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Lena Potis.

He is survived by his three children, son, Christopher Potis and his wife, Gina; daughters, Nanette Potis and Rebecca Burkhard and her husband, Louis; and grandsons, Patrick and wife, Alexia, and their son, Logan (great-grandson) and Benjamin and his wife, Ashley; and Sam’s very good friend, Jacquelyn Costello, who lived with Sam this past year and gave so much support and love. On behalf of Sam and the family, we are very grateful to her.

A Funeral Mass for Samuel took place on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at San Clemente Catholic Church. Samuel will be laid to rest at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
