Yvonne Renee Conklin, age 55, a resident of Belen, passed away on Nov. 18, 2023.

Yvonne was a very talented cosmologist for many years in Albuquerque, then moved to Belen after retirement.

Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, beginning with a visitation at 2 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 3 p.m.

She is survived by sons, Cisco Barba and David Conklin; brothers, Elias Jr. and Jason Barba; sister, Ronda Benavidez; goddaughter, Shaylee Chavez; grandsons, Andrew Barba and David Eldon Elmer Conklin; nieces, Zabrina Roybal and Jonnacie Coco; nephews, Steven Barba and Danny Chavez; many other loved ones and her beloved pets, Honey and Gumby.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her loving husband, David I. Conklin; parents, Elias and Theresa Gutierrez Barba; brother, John W. Rios; and many other loved ones.
