Letters to the Editor (Jan. 30, 2025)
We want our country back
Editor:
A conspiracy theorist and a dangerous one at that is unacceptable as the director of the FBI.
Kash Patel does not possess the integrity to effectively represent our federal government! He’s nothing more than a Trump loyalist and not a qualified candidate.
We won’t stand for these obviously-terrible candidates and will continue to call and write and march until our voices are heard! We want our country back and we’re not stopping until the people who serve us in American government are actually serving our interests because they work for us.
We voted you in, we will vote you out!

He’s not what we need
Editor:
I hope you all are happy with what you got.
You voted for a felon. You voted for a liar. You voted for someone who doesn’t care about you, only about himself and his billionaire friends.
He pardoned people who assaulted police officer on Jan. 6, 2021. He is trying to circumvent the U.S. Constitution by ending birthright citizenship. He’s forcing California to change its laws before he’ll help with the fires.
He chastised an Episcopal bishop who urged kindness and asked for mercy from our new president.
He is not off to a good start. I am hoping and praying that President Trump will become the president this country needs.
