Basketball

Lady Tigers Youth Basketball Camp

The Lady Tigers Youth Basketball Camp is Monday, June 3, and Tuesday, June 4, at the Los Lunas High School gymnasium. Instruction includes fundamental drills, contests and team games.

Session one, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., is for incoming first through fourth-graders. Session two is for fifth through eighth-graders, 1-4 p.m.

Belen Summer Basketball Youth Camp

The Belen High School gymnasium is the place to be for the Summer Basketball Youth Camp, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, June 3, and Tuesday, June 4. The camp is for boys and girls, kindergarten through eighth grade. The cost is $50. For more information, contact Angela Cano at 505-610-3781.

Third annual Big Cat Basketball Camp

The Big Cat Basketball Camp will be held 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday-Wednesday, June 25-26, at Valencia High School. Boys and girls, incoming third through eighth grade, are eligible. $40 per camper. Girls basketball camp

The Belen High School girls basketball team will be hosting a girls basketball camp from 1-4 p.m., Wednesday-Thursday, July 10-12, in the BHS gymnasium. First through eighth grade, boys and girls. Valencia Youth Basketball Camp

A youth basketball camp is set for the first four Saturdays in August at Valencia High School. Exact times will be announced later. The cost is $50 per camper, $40 for multiple participants.

Football

Belen High School Friday Night Lights Football Camp

The Belen Eagles will be hosting the Friday Night Lights Youth Football Camp at 5 p.m., Friday, June 14. Learn football fundamentals from BHS Eagles, including catching, throwing, blocking and tackling.

Valencia Jaguars Football

There are several activities this summer associated with Valencia Jaguars football. VHS will be taking part in 7-on-7 games in June and will host a tournament on Friday, June 21. In addition, VHS is hosting a youth camp 9:30-11 a.m., Friday, July 12. Cost is $25.

Wrestling

New Mexico Highlands University Wrestling Camp at LLHS

The New Mexico Highlands University Wrestling Camp is Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, at Los Lunas High School. Fifth grade and up. The first session is 3-5 p.m. on Friday, June 7. The second session is 9-11 a.m., Saturday, June 8, with the third session later that day from 1:30-3 p.m. The cost is $50. Clinicians include NMHU coach Chris Freije and LLHS coach Steve Chavez. On-site registration is 2-3 p.m. before the first session, or contact Steve Chavez at 505-620-4290 or sachavez@llschools.net.

Volleyball

The Los Lunas Youth Sand Volleyball League will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting Monday, June 3. The league, for youth 13 to 17 years old, will be at Heritage Park in Los Lunas. The cost is $100 per team. For more information go to loslunasnm.gov or call 505-352-7661.

Los Lunas Volleyball All-Skills Camp

The Los Lunas Volleyball All-Skills Camp will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday, June 14, at LLHS. The camp is for students in sixth through eighth grade. Participants can expect in-depth training, skill development, fitness drills and competitive play. The registration fee is $40. Registration closes Wednesday, June 5. Tigers Youth Volleyball Camp

The Tigers Youth Volleyball Camp is Wednesday and Thursday, July 17-18, at Los Lunas Middle School. Session one is from 9-11 a.m. for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. Session two is from 1-3 p.m. for participants in fifth through eighth grades. Campers can expect fundamental drills, team games, prizes and a T-shirt.

Cheer & dance

LLHS Tigerettes Youth Summer Dance Camp

The Los Lunas Tigerettes Youth Summer Dance Camp for pre-k to sixth grade is scheduled Wednesday, June 12, through Friday, June 14, at the LLHS main gymnasium.

From 1-3 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, is Grease Day; and Thursday, June 13, is Cowgirl Day. The Tiger Day Showcase Performance starts at 11 a.m., Friday, June 14.

Cost is $65. Venmo, cash or check are accepted. Each student receives a T-shirt, with snacks and drinks provided.

LLHS Youth Cheer Camp

The Los Lunas High School Youth Cheer Camp is 9-11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 15, in the LLHS gymnasium. Campers will learn cheers, dances, jumps, stunts, motions and tumbling. Cost is $50. Belen Cheer Team Camp

The Belen High School cheer team will be holding a cheer team camp on Thursday-Friday, June 20-21, in the BHS gymnasium.

Belen Youth Cheer Camp

The Belen Youth Cheer Camp will be held 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, July 17-18, at Belen High School. The camp is open to children ages 4-14. Campers will be taught a variety of skills and will learn a short routine to be performed at a BHS home football game. The cost is $60 for the first child and $50 for a second sibling. Snacks and lunch will be provided, with each camper receiving a T-Shirt and bow. Scan QR code to register.

Soccer

The Valencia Jaguars Soccer Skills Camp is 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, at Valencia High School. Athletes in pre-k through sixth grade will learn skills that include kicking, passing, shooting, offense and defense. Cost is $30 through Venmo: @kimberlychavez10. LLHS Girls Soccer Camp

The Los Lunas High School Girls Soccer Camp is 5-6:30 p.m., July 18-19. The camp, at the LLHS soccer fields, is for girls in preschool to seventh grade. T-shirt, fun and games, drinks and snacks are provided. Registration is $45 per participant, with a $10 discount for each sibling. Register by July 11. Tennis

Two Cats Doubles Tennis Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, at Huning Ranch Tennis Courts. The tournament is for all ages and costs $25 per team. Cross Country

A camp for prospective Los Lunas cross-country runners, 7-12 grades, will be held Tuesday-Thursday, July 16-18.

A parent/athlete meeting with the coaches will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, in the football bleachers. Workouts begin Thursday, June 13.

Tierra Del Sol Golf Club in Rio Communities is offering a youth golf clinic each Tuesday and Thursday from July 9 through August 1. The cost is $20 per golfer. Registration is open starting June 15. Call 505-864-1000 for more information.
