Belen will have five boys competing this weekend in the NMAA State Swimming & Diving Championships at Albuquerque Academy.
Diego Vigil, of the Eagles, qualified in the 200 freestyle and 200 individual medley, while Nehemiah Sanchez will compete in the 50 freestyle. Vigil and Sanchez will also swim in the 200-medley relay with Cole Rodriguez and Arbin Apodaca, as well as the 200-freestyle relay with Rodriguez and Isaiah Marez.
Andres Burkhard will represent Valencia in the 4A 100 breaststroke.
No Los Lunas swimmers, or girls from LLHS, VHS or BHS advanced to the state meet.
