UNM-Valencia nursing program accepting applications

TOME — The University of New Mexico-Valencia nursing program will accept applications for the Fall 2026 semester from April 1 to June 1.

UNM-Valencia is excited to welcome its next cohort of future nurses. The nursing department is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Nursing program offices are located on the second floor of the Student Community Center (Building J) on the northwest side of campus, and tours are available for groups or on an individual basis.

The UNM-Valencia associate degree in nursing program will develop professional nurses with abilities to promote, restore and maintain health for individuals, families and groups within our rural community.

Those interested in the steps towards a nursing pathway should meet with a UNM-Valencia academic success coach. Specific help with the review of admission requirements and application steps, plan and complete the prerequisite courses, explore timelines to stay on track for the nursing application.

Advisement is available through walk-ins or scheduled appointments. It is encouraged to meet with an advisor early to create a clear plan.
