Eastern Star welcomes leaders to city of Belen
BELEN — The Jessamine Chapter No. 45, Order of the Eastern Star, welcomes the Hub City the official visit of the Worthy Grand Matron Cavell Ann Miller, and the Worthy Grand Patron Jay D. Miller on Saturday, March 28.
The official visit will be held at the Bethlehem Lodge No. 56, 607 Goebel Ave. Registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon honoring Miller and Patron at 12 p.m. The official visit meeting begins at 1 p.m.
The theme if the visit is “Choose Your Own Musical Adventure.
Jessamine Chapter No. 45 is also recognizing several members who are currently serving in appointments with the general grand chapter and grand chapter in New Mexico:

• Carolyn Dobbs, Grand Esther
• Susan Kemp, Grand Warder
• Jim Bramen, Grand Marshal
This special event provides members and guest the opportunity to welcome the grand chapter officers and celebrate the shared values of service, charity and fraternal fellowship that defines the Order of the Eastern Star.
